Greetings race fans. Busy weekend, didn't get any action in last night and am getting ready to head out to a golf tourney shortly. We have a 2 and an 8 handicap on our team, so I'm pretty much there just to ride in the cart and consume beverages. But these are locked and loaded:
Martin -105 over Kurt-The 5 car is back on track after a rough patch, and has a very nice history here (5 top 5s the last 8 trips). Kurt's avg finish is 17th.
Burton -140 over Juan Pabs-Johnny has managed only a 26th average finish on this layout, while Burton has an average of 15th and 3 top 10s over the last 8 trips. Juicy, but laying the wood.
Newman -125 and Reutimann +110 over McMurray-Fading Jamie Mac is my top theme of the weekend. Off to a nice start, but in 14 career races has only 3 top 10s and and average finish of 27th the last 8 trips. Newman has an average of 12th in the same span, the 00 has had some very strong cars that haven't quite got the finish to match and looks fast again in practice.
Hornish +110 over Ragan-One of Sam's better tracks, probably drawing on his IRL experience here a bit. Brought it in the top 10 both races last year. Take a shot at plus money, Ragan has been pretty mediocre here besides a random top 5 a few years ago.
Kyle Busch looks very fast, but you notice I did not use him. Because he's my pick in week 1 of Survivor. Which means he will find the wall at some point as I can't ever get past the first round of that.
And my Derby pick-Dublin, coming from off the pace.
That's it for me, hopefully I can make a couple puts or get a lucky drive or something today. Helping a great cause in Relay for Life if nothing else. GL to everyone out there today, I'll try to check in pre race if I get back in time.

Thanks guys. We won low net in the golf tourney!! Shot a 59 which was a 53 with our handicap. I think we played about 5 of my shots all day. But I did hit a drive about 365 yards with the help of a kick off the cart path. Which was pretty sweet. The low gross shot a 57, all their players were an 8 or better.
Now let's go racin'!!!

Grinded out another winning week, 3-2 plus 1.05 units. YTD now up to 32-14, plus 19.05 units. Try to keep it going next week in Darlington. See everyone then.
