I am beginning to think Denny tries to darn hard to win this thing and I know that sounds weird. But he just seems to try and make this the perfect race every time out. There is so much emphasis put on this by him and his crew that sometimes that is a detriment. Last night he should have just let Harvick go and save his car and ride. Instead he tried to run the perfect lap on the outside every time and lost it all by himself.
With that said I still think he is the pick tonight. If Kyle needs to win to make the chase and Denny is in the lead he WILL NOT let him pass. This race means to much to him and ultimately he knows that Kyle is WAY MORE of a contender for the championship than Kenseth so that is one less driver to worry about.
Cannot disagree here he looks extremely strong and you know mentally Mark will not be beat. The only thing to slow him down in someone else or a parts failure and I surely don't believe he is going to get wrecked. MAybe just maybe Mark racing Kyle clean 2 weeks ago may end up being a blessing
