books in general all have caught on, when you have JJ and Denny winning over half the races thus far, their is a reason they are huge favs. every week....books probably have been taking a beating on them. They are much happier when a guy like newman or mcmurray wins.

Newman, Kyle and McMurray all with 1

56% of the races so far have been won by Denny or JJ

72% of the races have been won by Denny, JJ or Kurt

83% have been won by Denny, JJ, Kurt or Harvick

So nearly 85% of all the races have been won by 4 different people , out of 43 drivers.

This year has been a good year for the favs. for sure.

Mcmurray was over 40-1 for daytona

Newman was 38-1 or better

Kyle was around 10-1 I believe.

Nationwide is even worse, when you get 5 guys that have pretty much won every race this yr. except for 1 ( Allgaier) ...the odds are always at 5-1 or less for all of them. We pretty much can guarantee that 1 of the top 5 will win every week out there.

Plus the Gibbs cars should have won nearly every race this year except for maybe 2 or 3 races....they have pretty much dominated the nationwide this year.

Only problem with that stats is if the 2 don't win and you put $50 on each to win the best you come out is +$37.50 if the 24 hits. If the 11,18 or 48 hits it just gets worse. There is just no value there for me, but I haven't bet a winner in some time as I'm always looking at +800 or better to make a play. The favs have definately been rolling in this season.
