Just wondering if anyone other than myself likes Kevin Harvick at around 8-1 to win the Sprint Cup this year. He's been a holding the lead and I really don't want to see Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson win again. Let's give someone else a chance......
Any thoughts. Faith.

I've got him at +1800 as of a bet placed on Feb 28th. Also got the 11 at +1300 and Burton at +2000
To answer your question.....Yes he has a legit chance but when the chase starts he will be in probably 3rd or 4th place. He's as consistent imo as JJ but in a much quieter fashion. He has more top 10's than any driver on the circuit this year but all that gets wiped away come chase time.5Dimes is currently at 10-1 on Harvick if you are interested.

Just reading up on the Rules for the Chase. A reminder to whomeverelse-
1.Following the 26th race of the season, all drivers in the NASCAR Top 10 and any others within 400 points of the leader will earn a berth in the "Chase for the Championship."
2.All drivers in the "chase" will have their point totals adjusted. The first-place driver in the standings will begin the chase with 5,050 points; the second-place driver will start with 5,045, etc. Incremental five-point drops will continue through the list of title contenders.
For some reason I thought it was 20 points seperating each driver. Wow it'll be close I guess I will wait another several weeks and see if I can Pick a nice Longshot. Keep you posted!Faith

where you the one who told me about that one? I remember someone here saying they still had it at that price and running to get that bet in.
Yep. It just seemed so odd because every other book had Harvick between 12-15:1 at that point. Bookmaker was literally double the odds of many of the books I checked. And I checked a bunch to make sure I wasn't missing something.
