I was on a video shoot and didn't have time to post plays or join in on the conversation. Too bad...I always enjoy this forum. Went 2-1 on plays...I would post them, but I think we have all had enough of seeing plays posted after the race
Wanted to bring this up...something I was thinking about yesterday.
The worse thing you can be in just about any aspect in life is irrelevant. Business, social, etc...if you're irrelevant, you're in big trouble. It really looks like that is happening to Ricky Stenhouse. He is mentioned almost never on a broadcast...he doesn't finish great...he doesn't do anything noteworthy...even the connection to Danica has worn off. I gotta say...I really would be worried if I was him and/or Roush. Kenseth had that car a legit contender, and Stenhouse can't even get a mention on a national broadcast, and that's what I love about what Tony Stewart is doing with his team. Everyone of his drivers is polarizing in some sort of way. They have personality, they have an image (good or bad), and in every race you are drawn somewhat to what every one of those drivers are doing or going to do next.
I gotta tip my hat to Tony for the team he's built. They may not win every race, they may not all make the Chase...but that are relevant every single week...and there's a really big value to that...especially in a sport where there are 41 other drivers on the track competing for that attention.
As for Stenhouse and Roush...I think they need to start swinging for the fences pretty soon with that team. It's tough to get noticed...but it's easy to be forgotten.

And to think Bayne is coming next year to replace Edwards. Roush is heading downhill and fast. They need to get someone to come and dance for them. Biffle is solid but he isnt going to kmock your socks off. They had it with Martin, they had it with Kurt, they have it but will lose it with Edwards and had it with Matty. They need to find something or the organization will be irrelevant. Well said Alan
