Alright, trying to keep this nice hot streak to end the season going. Even somehow (blind luck) went 3-0 at Talladega last week. Hit the BC Classic Win and Show to boot yesterday. Rolling with these today:
Logano +100 over Newman-Joey starting to live up to the hype, top 10 finishes in 5 of the last 8 races. Has never had much success here, but I think he'll top his career best of 19th and Newman's avg. at the track last 9 is 20th.
Ragan -130 over R. Smith-Both looked similar in practice and fast in Happy Hour. 78 has been showing improved results lately, but the 6 hasn't been bad either and I'll take his career finish of 24th here (despite 2 DNFs) over Smith's 30th.
Tailing looselugs on those first 2.
Kyle Busch +100 over Edwards-value play here, Rowdy was on top of both practice charts yesterday and The Greek has him listed as the race favorite to win at +450, yet a dog in this matchup.
Martin +115 over Montoya-Martin is running better here to close the season, and last 9 trips to Texas has 6 top 10s and an average of 11.6. Montoya hasn't had a whole lot of luck, avg. finish around 24th.
Kurt Busch +115 over Biffle-both guys have 5 top 10s in the last 9 trips here. I think Kurt has looked a bit better in practice, have to like the nice dog value here.
That's it for me. Keeping on the lookout for value as always. GL to everyone today

looselugs was on those early, I'd give credit to him. Glad you had the score though
Ended up 3-2, up 1.15 units on the day. The Kurt call was a bust, but Kyle's 1 finger salute to the official after getting called speeding out of the pits put he kaibosh on what looked like a good play. Edwards faded all day back to like 20th at the end.
YTD now 84-60, plus 21.75. Imagine we'll keep rolling at Phoenix next week, might scale back and be a bit more selective to keep the profit margin locked in. Well that's what a disciplined professional player would do, but that's not me. We'll see how the lines look.
