Johnny Sauter sweep both races here last year that why he is 3-1 but I think this year could be different. He is without his favorite crew chief Joe Shear who is still serving his 8 week suspension. Crew chief here will be critical with practice in the heat of the day and racing at night. The last four races without Joe Shear 4th ,5th ,28 and 7th. But more importantly he is without his winning chassis that won both races with last year. He demolished it at Charlotte this year with Buescher.
So this may open the door with more opportunity's with better odds.
I like Ty Dillion at 8-1.He has run three races here, avg start 6.7, avg finish 5th . This chassis he is bringing is the one he took to Atlanta (another 1.5 track) last year. Started on the pole, led 40 laps, won the race. Had a restart with 20 to go and pulled away from Kyle to win by 3.22 seconds.
Also like Joey Coulter 15-1(sia). Joey has the best avg finish here than anyone in the last four races (5.2). He finished 2nd at Kansas this year, another 1.5 track that very similar to Texas. He`s bringing a new chassis which I`m never to crazy about and he`s only had one top five and only led for 15 laps this year. (all at Kansas ) but I`ll take a shot .

I know for sure Ryan Blaney tested here a couple months back and made some gains evident by starting 6th but his CC is known for running to much camber in right front which will blow out his tire. At least thats what I heard thru the grapevine
