Do you really think that Russ and PG and Melo can pull it off? I dont. In the 2 games OKC has won, the "Big 3" have combined for 80+ points, both games at home decided by 8 points. In the 3 losses the "Big 3" have scored 66, 51, and 54 points averaging 57ppg. Carmello Anthony has been averaging roughly 33.3% from the floor for the entire series and has proven down the stretch he is useless. The Thunder caught lightning in a bottle in the 3rd quarter at home after putting Melo on the bench where he belongs, but up untill that point the Utah Jazz have been dominating on the offensive and defensive end for that game and the 3 games prior. It was a nice show in OKC but Jazz take care of business at home and cover the spread

I have to agree that Melo has been horrid, you would think Billy Donovan would realize how much of a defensive liability he is. Grant helps them out way more than Melo has all year. but there has to be some consideration for the fact that the Jazz will be pressing after blowing this 25 point lead. I know their homecourt advantage is so strong but if OKC can get Gobert into foul trouble again they can expose Favors like they did last night in the 3rd and most of the 4th. Gobert is the huge X factor for the Jazz because with him in, OKC struggles mightily to score inside, and he makes Adams basically irrelevant. I think game 6 will be a lot closer than people think. just a thought not hating!

Agreed that Melo is trash... However, game 6 is HUGE. If OKC can pull off this win on the road to force a game 7 at Chesapeake, with that crowd, I can't see Utah pulling that off. From the jump, I've been saying this would be a 7 game series which is why liked the Jazz +1.5.
Utah could definitely handle business at home in this spot but like the previous guy mentioned, if Gobert gets into foul trouble or if PG and RW have monster games, the Thunder can pull off the comeback.
GL tho!

If they sit Melo. They have a chance. Always knew he was a defensive liability. I cant believe how slow he is. Honestly, there isnt a role for him on this team.
