127-122 could be over 1.7sec left big bet on GSW-2.0
Check out the replay on Twitter. Looney starts on the ball and back pedals for no reason to cover no one. Klay doesn't even raise his arm on the shooter

And why would he up 5 and no chance of losing, as long as you don’t foul and accidentally pick up a flagrant.
There is ZERO benefit he can derive from guarding a guy up 5 with less than 2 seconds.

Yes zero benefit for Kidd to draw up a 5 point play with the time out with 1.7. So your point is not to compete on the play defensively, perhaps but consider.
Not sure how Looney could have drawn a flagrant guarding the inbounds like he was initially doing.
What gets me is in the game is over yet Bullock competes hard off scripted play to hit the 3.
Let's consider how much effort was put in the TCU cover as well when game was decided. A perfect bowling ball roll 50 feet to the 3 point line to the shooter who was so motivated to cover the spread he threw his arms up.
It's an ugly trend and as much as I appreciate your league office-like response to my post your argument is weak that the integrity of the game is not compromised in today's game

Betting on NBA is a crapshoot. No way to handicap the games because there is no way on knowing in their play for pay show Who is going to give effort and who is not

Not a “league office response” just common sense.
The problem is you are clearly jaded by the loss so you must come up with some ridiculous reasoning.
It’s just plain common sense, don’t go near the ball up 5 with 2 seconds left.
THERE IS ZERO BENEFIT!!!
And yet in your entire response you have yet to come up with any good reasoning as to why a player SHOULD try and defend the shot.
Because here is what is a fact that you cannot refute:
It is IMPOSSIBLE for them to lose if they stay away from the shooter. So I ask you again, armed with that information, why would you even try?
It’s called gambling my friend. Accept the losses even when they seem ridiculous.
I can say definitively that you have been on the other side of those crazy endings.
I’m sure you don’t complain about those.
