Long-time reader of the forum, decided to post my picks as a way to keep track of my record and hopefully get some feedback.
OKC - 4.5 - Pacers coming off a back to back against the Spurs which they surprisingly demolished. I honestly thought there was good value in the Spurs -3.5, but wow. I think OKC with a day's rest rolls here. Though the Pacers have solid perimeter defense, I think Westbrook and KD will be a lot for them, especially coming off a back to back. Another strength of the Pacers is their inside presence, but OKC has excellent interior defense. I expect something similar to the OKC/Spurs game, but with OKC covering in the 4th.
Toronto +5.5 - Kobe's back! However, still no Nash or Farmar (though I'm not sure they would matter that much anyhow). The Lakers have been playing decent w/o Kobe, but with a rusty Kobe who's not fully 100%, combined with them used to playing w/o Kobe will disrupt the Lakers chemistry. Furthermore, Toronto is coming off a loss at Phx 2 nights ago, and I expect them to eventually bounce back here in this spot. Toronto has traditionally kept it closer with the Lakers, and this Toronto team is one of the better squads. I expect Toronto to cover here and maybe even put a little on the ML if you can.
Good luck all!
