All I need to know about Melo is . . .

Out of the top 10 players for ppg, this guy averages the least amount of assists!!   That's right, less than Aldridge and Batum . . .

I am sure a lot of people will look at the Knicks record and use that as a defense to how well Melo is playing but it has been more timely shooting and defense than anything.  Melo will never be a team player and make the right basketball play.  With how much attention he attracts, why cant he just pass it out instead of running into people and getting offensive fouls?

Because he's the mighty Carmelo Anthony.  That's why.

Seriously though, I agree 100%.

Guy is a real turd in my book, especially with what he did causing all that drama on his way out of Denver.  Denver is not that much worse without him and NY is not that much better with him. 

I'm a Knick fan and I have no complaints with Melo. As this team is currently constructed, he is the only player in the starting five that can create his own shot. JR Smith is the only other player that will almost always take 15+ shots a night. With Amare not around, that is their role. Score. When Melo is doubled, he has shown a willingness to pass it out and the Knicks have gotten very good this year at swinging the ball around to the open man for an open look. Having players with a high basketball IQ like Kidd, Felton, Brewer, even Prigioni, is really good for Melo to be surrounded by.

He's an over sized Allen Iverson.

I think Iverson would be insulted by that statement!

Seriously though, I do not think Melo is half as good as Iverson was in his prime. 

I agree too....Melo is a STUD scorer and that's what makes him a a consistent starter in the all star game...an olympian...and yes and Superstar.

Passing is not his game....he is who we think he is...."a score 1st superstar."
