I haven't seen any odds yet but here's the line up and this should be a great shootout. Curry is the clear favorite I'm guessing around 2-1 is anyone gonna try and beat him here if so with who? Redick he's leading the league in 3 pt % & Klay is over 40% for 5 years and counting are the only 2 I'd consider.
1. Curry
2. Klay
3. Harden
4.Lowry
5. Redick
6.Middleton
7. Bosh
8. Booker

Ive gone with sleeper Redick the past few years and I will do it again this year. BUT, the way Curry is shooting the ball this year you would have to be crazy not to put a little on him. Anyone think if the splash brothers make it to the final round this year again Curry lets Klay win this one? Im sure they do these all the time in practice. Neither have anything to prove.
Redick
Curry
Thompson
Those are my picks

forget the shootout, just unload as much as humanly possible on lavine to win the dunk contest,no matter wat the juice....the field is trash and only 4 deep...only way he loses is if he misses practically every attempt and he shown that he can easily complete even insanely difficult dunks.....this looks like such a mis-match,zach can do shiit that those other guys are simply incapable of,verticality, dexterity and creativity wise.....hes more or less been a professional dunker for the past few years with the comps hes been in and won and the effort he puts into attempting and perfecting new types of dunk.
obviously im kidding about unloading everything on it but you get the gist....always gamble responsibly

honestly with you on lavine, but watch out for gordon. he might surprise us all.
and to whoever said about klay and steph in the finals, i do see curry giving it to klay if its just those two that make it.
yep,i've checked out a lot of gordons old dunks from high school on youtube..hes got really nice hops....but still not in zach's league,i think he recorded a 48" vertical or sumthing ridiculous......i dont see the same creativity and dexterity from gordon,he cant do the same stuff in the air with arms and legs in motion and its also obviously much tougher for a bigger guy to win it than a mid-size or smaller guy...just looks more spectacular and gets the crowd hyped when the smaller man gets up.
honestly zach wud have to get stage fright and completely co.ck up most of his attempts to lose it....and i wud guess he has spent more time in preparation than the other contestants as he makes it known that its kind of important to him.

yep, seems like a real waste of time, the thing will only last 10 minutes and at least if you only had 3 other dudes ya shud have got the best of the best, absolute most athletic, exciting dudes....it shud be a real snooze-fest....(except if lavine does sum real wild shiit no-one ever seen before again.)

Odds per cbs sports, well I was spot on with currys odds and I was hoping for much better with Klay so he's no longer a option for me at that point I'm just going curry. Redick is my 2nd pick. Now that we have some odds what ya think??
Curry 9-4
Klay 7-2
Redick 5-1
Booker 11-2
Lowry 11-2
Harden 8-1
Middleton 8-1
Bosh 12-1

for me its a bit of a crapshoot...it goes without saying that shooting is a rhythm/feeling type of thing and ya can just get hot on the night and its over for the rest of the field....so often the winner of this thing has been an out of the blue dude you just dont really expect and the hot favourite crashes and burns....think of guys like kyrie, paul pierce, belinelli, kevin love...and all the way back to voshon leonard and quentin richardson.
having said all that i reckon the best strategy is to go for bigger odds value guys perhaps...i know its crazy betting against steph but do his chances really reflect well against the odds given??...just over 2-1 in a 8 horse race.
harden and redick look like nice dark horses to me...harden aint the best long range pure shooter by any stretch but he can get hot and streaky and redick is a heck of a shooter, just a matter of if he has strength/stamina to go strong the whole way thru...notv the most athletic guy and doesnt look like he uses legs much which you need to do.
