Looking back the last three years, there hasn't been a single 1st Round NBA Playoffs upset in the East. Do any teams look poised? Currently the weakest of the top four is the Sixers, ESPECIALLY if Embiid isn't 100%. If they get the Pistons though, ignore that, the Pistons are probably the weakest of the Pacers, Nets, & Magic. Of the lower seeds, I'd say the Pacers are the toughest outs (Magic close 2nd), but Boston, Toronto and Milwaukee aren't going out in the first round to this lot. If the Pacers or Magic can draw the Sixers, I'd say look out, but other wise... make it four straight chalk years in the East (unless Boston drops to the 5 seed, then take Boston).
Out West, two straight years the Jazz have gotten the upset, they look primed to make it a third straight year with an upset over the injured Blazers. Portland may have extra motivation after being the biggest 1st round upset sweep last year (OKC/Jazz only other upset). The Jazz should take this unless they somehow get matched up with the Rockets.
I don't see Nets, Pistons, Spurs, OKC, and Clippers making it past the 1st round vs any team other the Blazers, so it's an indictment on those teams AND the Blazers.
Personally, I will be betting a parlay on the Bucks, Raptors, Celtics, Warriors, Nuggets, and Rockets to advance likely at Pick 'Em odds. I will be taking the Jazz seperately to get the "upset" over the Blazers, and if the Sixers get somehow matched up against the Pacers or the Magic, I will be fading the Sixers.
Any questions, comments or trolls, have at it. Best of luck

Regardless if Jazz get matched up with Rockets - I think Clippers can still take out Portland.
Out East I don’t see any first round upsets occurring - Embiid is healthy and Sixers just wants him 110% for playoffs. Brooklyn will make it interesting if they match up with Philly, but won’t take the series.
