i thought mavs were bad but after watching phoenix play last night. i&#x27;m not really sure how they even won a game. the most obvious thing i notice is teams just do not play defense anymore. maybe they wait till playoffs to play defense. seems like you just gotta guess which team will bring it that night.

they played some defence after changing their coach but they have been lazy lately in it;If you watched their last games, you&#x27;ll see they are not guarding at all, letting a lot of drives and 3&#x27;s without contesting. to get worst, they are trailing too many points since the first minutes and to run to get back in game is not easy. they played good against the spurs but failed to keep defending in second half. they messed a great opportunity against the nets at home when they had free throw bonus in 10 last minutes of the final quarter. chandler is injured which is not good for a bad rim defensive team. they could play bender much more but it&#x27;s not doing that and marquese chriss is disgusting defending. he can&#x27;t do that at all.a lot to work in phoenix right now.
