Anyone get a cash out up 20?

Makes you go hmmm doesn’t it? Almost always when they offer a cash out it’s financially better not to take it.  

Yea it’s odd. Usually up 15 at half on a 4.5 spread they are giving out 75% at least. Up 20 in the third prob as high as 85-90%. For whatever reason just not offered tonight.

Yep I agree with that. Goes hand in hand with my strong opinion that oddsmakers/books take positions on some games and a lot of lines are set to entice rather than gather equal action. This comment always leads to countless angry posts about how I’m crazy and books just want equal action, etc. I personally think that’s simple minded thinking especially with technology and how far sports gambling has come in the last decade.

That could be but explain this. Can cash out the bet before the start of the game but never during. Especially when Nuggs up big. Why? Seems that is when they want you off the books (at a discount). Unless they know something. 

I had two 4 teamers yesterday that both had Denver ML as last leg. But they also had the shitty Texas Rangers in both. So I’m watching the baseball game and it was the most ridiculous shit ever. Texas was refusing to win it.They had so many unbelievable chances. I was convinced they didn’t want to win it.

I cashed out both going into the top of the 13th. Then Angels miraculously didn’t score again. Texas loads the bases and only wins the game due to a hit batter in bottom of 13th. 

Saved me 650 and the excruciating Denver ml loss that would have cost me 3400 in potential winnings.

 I didn’t matter. I cashed out and didn’t lose anything. However, all night I was kicking myself because I was sure Denver Ml was going to cash. 

I do feel for anyone who didn’t get to cash out up 20 if they had a parlay. 

I had something on Rangers way back too and was watching them just throw the game away late.

And then 9th inning they had a chance to get just even 1 run to tie and Semien (#1 batter on the team), you could tell by his body language he didn't even give a shit.  Was just swinging at the dumbest pitches so he could go home - almost like he knew he wasn't supposed to actually hit the ball and try to win.

Same with Jimmy Butler when he just starts chucking up stupid ass shit in a close/winnable game - like he doesn't even remotely try to sell it, almost like he's pissed he knows the intended outcome of the game.

Cashouts must be great for the books. Which one was the first to offer that?

Look at it from this angle. Once lines are set, they remain similar across all platforms. So you're saying that ALL booking houses; brick and mortar casinos, off-shores, legal onlines, and locals, are all willingly complicit in taking sides, the same side, on some games?

Most gamblers are dreamers. And it's hard for dreamers to fathom slow, steady money. There has to be some other angle, right? Some big score potential?

There are instances of oddmakers not touching a number as money pours in on a certain side but this is more to protect from steam coming in on a favorable number more so than oddsmakers choosing a side.

Most will not understand Stu....they just don't get it, whether, naive, dumb or just plain stupid it will not resonate with most....in here, you can't even help most people to get out of their own way, let alone convince them otherwise...keep runnin' playa
