I opened an account at 5dimes a few months ago (Yes, I now know they are garbage). I've been on a heater, turning $150 into $6,555, but now the problems.
I wanted to withdraw money, but they capped it at $3,000. They also said I would have to wait another week to make another request, and each time charge me $80 for processing fee. On top of that, they said it may take 7-10 business days before I receive the cashiers check, and then a few days until it clears.
Waiting 2 weeks to get paid does me no good when I could have used the money for Christmas. I know they intentionally want to make it difficult, hoping if the money stays in the account I'll squander it back to them, but this is ridiculous.
Anyone have experience with payouts at 5dimes? They mentioned setting up a bitcoin account, but not sure about that either.
Just want my money, and not it 2 weeks.
Thanks

Once you go bitcoin you'll never go back. And you can even link it to your paypal account which now allows direct instant debits to your account. Can take out $2k and be able to spend it within 2 days. Otherwise, you're out of luck. Long process.

How do I set up a bitcoin account, and how quickly can I get my money?
The lady at 5dimes was saying something about setting up an account, doing the currency exchange, etc, but not knowing anything about bitcoin, I had no idea what she was talking about.

I had similar issues and ended up changing books to Betonline.com. They have been excellent with quick payments, low fees and maximum one time withdrawal of $9,000.00.

Thanks, just checked out their website real quick, but didn't set up an account.
Are they just a third party? Do I pay them?
I know I have alot of questions, just not comfortable having $4,000-$5,000 being sent to me and I have no idea how to do it.
Nah, you don't have to pay to set up an account. You just have to verify yourself and tie it to a bank account and if you have one a paypal account. Then you literally just transact bitcoin units in between Wallet Addresses. You request a withdrawal in bitcoin, input one of your wallet addresses, the book then sends it to that address. You'll see it in your coinbase account then from there you can "sell" it, which is nothing more than withdrawing it to your bank account or paypal account. Bank accounts take the normal 2-3 business days, paypal is instant.
