Draft kings sends you the tax form with only win/loss +- so in theory right now you would be claiming on your taxes that you lost $1500.00

First deposit: -$5,000

wins: +$3500

losses you can claim: $1,500

you only pay the taxes on winnings over those deposits. You can actually look at your +- on the DK app under account management I believe 

You can only claim loses that are equal or less than your winnings. If you win 100k and lose a 100k and have documentation its almost a wash. You can not claim more money lost than what you win. I won 30k in slots one year and claimed 30k in loses and only had to pay a extra $100 in taxes. Just make sure to have documentation of loses in case of audit.
