Atlanta is coming over one of the more disappointing losses of the season at San Antonio, while Detroit is coming off possibly their best game of the season against Miami, even though they didn't end up pulling it out. I need more than one game to believe that Detroit has solved it's woeful offense, and while Atlanta has developed a disturbing trend of playing mediocre basketball away from Phillips Arena, I'm still going to go with the more talented squad.
Atlanta (-6)
As a Celtics fan, I was about as shocked as anyone that they came back from down 27 last night to beat Orlando on the road. For Orlando the story is simple - shoot better than 40%, you're 12-1; shoot worse than 40%, you're 0-5. Knowing that, this game against New Orleans couldn't be coming at a better time. The Hornets played some respectable games in their past four, but facts are facts - New Orleans has lost 15 of their last 16, and they simply don't score many points. I expect Orlando to come back with vengeance tonight.
Orlando (-4)
I believe Oklahoma City is the best all around team in the NBA. That said, this is probably going to be a beast of a contest tonight. OKC is beginning a three game road stretch where they'll follow this game with games at the Clippers and at the Mavericks - could be the classic spot for looking ahead at bigger games. Steph Curry is shooting the ball lights out at the moment, which should help keep this game close, but I don't think that's going to be enough to overcome the talent that OKC puts out on the floor.
Oklahoma City (-4.5)
...also teased these three games to Atl (-2), Orl (pick), OKC (-.5)

17 turnovers through 3 quarters for Orlando is not a recipe for success, and Atlanta's road woes seem to be much greater than I originally thought. Looks like I'm going to need OKC to bail me out tonight...
