I got Atlanta to win the ECF for $140 at +7500 to win $10K. How do I hedge to get guaranteed money?

630 dollars on bucks -433 to win series and profit 5 dollerinos 

wait for the hawks to take a lead in the series 

Depends on how much you’re willing to wait out the series or can afford. 

Bucks currently -450 for the series. Personally, I don’t think the Hawks stand a chance. Price will prob go to -650 after G1.

If you want to take some risk on the series now...

Win 1K, you’d have to place about $4500 on the Bucks...Hawks win series, you win $5500.

$1500 to win $330.

$750 to win $160.

So forth and so....

 Perfect post. It all depends on what your bankroll is. If your bankroll is 100k then obviously let it ride. If your BR is 10k or less, you should be hedging some. 

The evened out hedging point would be putting 8000 on the Bucks. That way, you asure a profit of almost 2k on both sides. 

However, I dont see any value on the Bucks with that price. So hedging is EV-. You would be hedging only because those 2k make a big difference for your roll. 

Series price just dropped to -420 hmm, I think people see value in the Hawks.  Both teams went to 7 games in the SEMI's and both look tired but Bucks looked like they had a more physical and emotional game which gives the Hawks a good chance.  Hawks won both game 1s so far in the series.  

Still contemplating, I dig guaranteed money which is why I put the bet in the first place to have the opportunity to do something like this.

It's not a great hedging situation due to the price on the Bucks, you'd have to put up between and 5 and 10k to make it worthwhile.

With bets like this I say let it ride or just bet enough on the Bucks to cover whatever the bet cost you, 500 or whatever to win back your 140 and then you have a freeroll for 9.5 k on the Hawks, who haven't a hope anyway but best of luck all the same

This. If the 2k doesn't make or break you, you best bet is to just let it ride and hope the Hawks steal game 1 or get a lead in the series at any point.

wasnt there an article around end of May that someone bet 100k on Hawks to win NBA title at some crazy odds???  

 Here is your chance! Bux -210. Drop as much money as you can on them $6000 will win you 2600 something. And them if Atlanta wins you still make 4k. Can't ask for more then that!

My bro got $50 on those odds so he’s hedging 1K.  Never walk away from free money.  I had a feeling this year was a fluke with all the injuries so it was a whom ever had the healthiest team. Great bet!
