Atlanta to win in Miami....?

89-77 for the first meeting this season, in Miami.

Bosh had 27, Wade 26 and James 22... Well Bosh is out, James will probably be too, and even Wade is having knee trouble.

Joe Johnson was out for this first meeting, and I dont need to point out that he is red hot at the mo.

I think it's a perfect spot to get Atlanta, after a difficult win against the bad Kings. The Hawks are a good road team, they will come up strong to face another top team in the East... The Heat is struggling at the mo, they won't take every single game at home. If they have to drop some, this one could be one of them.

Atlanta should AT LEAST cover the spread IMO.


Comments ? Thoughts ? I am afraid Atlanta+pts is gonna be a public play...

BURTS, aireent777 Any news regarding Lebron ?? My bookie doesnt want to give me any odds for this game... only Betfair so far and no HC...


They offer me Dwayne Wade +/- 27.5 pts ? I am conseidreing the Under if he happens to be injured and plays just a bit.. but I have a feeling Wade will play strong and healthy...

Back to back games, and 4 of the Atlanta players played over 40+ minutes. They shot 47%, which is the team average.

If Miami was at full strength, I'd give 8.5. But the injury situation has me walking away from this one.........

hawks +6,5 - even at full strength, i would'nt give the heat more than 10 - would be fool not to place a small amount on ATL

With Bosh out, Horford should hopefully have a field day. I know Marvin Williams is still out for the Hawks, but with JJ back and Wade/James crippled, the value on the ML is too tempting not to put something small or medium on it. +6.5 seems like to much as it is.

I usually stay the hell away from Hawks and Grizzlies games.. but here I am playing one of them, ahh... guess I'll never learn, lol. This is just too tempting.

is there another team in the comp right now apart from Kings that can seemingly be playing excellent then the next quarter only manage to scrape 15 or less points
What is with this Hawks team....they do this all the time, would like to know the stat on just how many quarters they have barely managed to score 15 this season

I had a GREAT night in the NBA

Thanks for ur comments and infos, it made me confident before throwing units on Atlanta. I mainly played Atlanta +6.5, I put some on the ML as well and on the Under. I also got Charlotte +7.5 so nothing to complain about.

I have something to say though ,regarding this Hawks game. Ok the Hawks won, and I am more than happy about it ($$$$) but the game didnt go AT ALL like I, or we, planned !!

- LeBron played and scored 34 (with an awful 11/30 and loads of bad choices but still)
- Horford got injured and only played 20 minutes for "only" 6 pts
- This game could have gone much better for the Heat if James and Wade hit some "killer hoops" that they missed... Once again if James was out it would have been a totally different story !!!

When one checks the statistics of this game, seeing that Wade and James took 50 shots out of 77 and are nearly the 2 only players to go the free-throw line... it must feel terrible to be part of this team if you are not an "amigo" !!!
