Not sure who will play D which is the key, but could the Clips actually be fun to watch?

i think this pretty much means maggette is gone.  put al thornton or mobley in there instead.

GST offered 5 years $90 mil, while the Clips offered 5 year $70 mil. I expect the Clips to increase the offer. The signing of BD makes no sense if EB isn&#x27;t there. They can&#x27;t afford to lose EB, but then again, $18 mil per season seems a bit high for a player like EB.

I think it makes the Clippers relevant again, but they will still be competing for the #8 spot, even if young Thornton and Gordon develop.

I give them tons of credit for bringing the hometown boy back, and his and Brand's involvement in the Hollywood world, can only help the team sell itself in that market.

And even though a bunch of you guys dont seem to like Corey Maggette, if they pay the tax and find a way to bring him back too, then they could be serious contenders. Possibly top 4 in the West. He is an excellent player, that is often unfairly criticized.

I wonder if Baron is already scheming to get rid of Captain Dunleavy.

All I can say is, now that the Celts have a good shooting guard besides Allen, you have big baby, gabe pruitt, perkins and powe all going into another year with HUGE experiance now behind them and another hard working summer to improve...pierce, allen and garnett on top of the world now with the monkey off their back...detroit in mix-up mode....hopefully they re-sign posey and eddie house....i&#x27;m seriously thinking repreat....the only team in the west defensively as good as boston is the spurs, and they are now officially the oldest team in the NBA.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;The west teams can make as many moves they want, the only team in the NBA that scares me to beat the celts in 7 games is the Cavs.

Clippers will make the playoffs next year barring injuries. They would have made it this year possibly if Brand was healthy all year. Maggette leaving is fine (I'm hearing he's going to the Spurs) because Thornton is better anyways.

Although I do think Baron Davis is a bit overrated they will still have a deadly starting lineup with Davis, Gordon, Thornton, Brand and Kaman, with Livingston on the bench. That's a playoff team.
