he is correct for game 3 at least, Barea shot a mere 20% on 8 shot attempts while committing 4 TOs (only 1 assist/horrible ratio), if he hits at least 35-40% in that game, dallas wins...and that is not too much to ask for.

imo, this was the X-factor of the result of game 3, we could all be talkin about how much of an advantage Dallas has at this point if Barea didnt completly shit the bed.

barea is great against slower bigs that he can zip around. Miami is too fast and lengthy for him to use his normal tricks on. the reason his shooting rate has been so much lower is because he has been forced into a lot more hard shots than he is used to because of the heats d.

i dont know if he has the tools to put up the same numbers against the heat right now. i could be wrong though...

spot on my brother, he cant take that dipsy doo shit inside Anthony eats him up. I watched Anthony block 12 shots in one game while he was at UNLV. Think there was a couple of shortys on the other team too!!

Guess you must have skipped the 3Q. Miami came out rolling and pushed their lead to 11 just 1:30 in. Dallas quickly inserted Barea, and when he sat back down at the 4:00 mark, the game was tied.

Also, what does it say then about JTerry when Miami chose to defend him with a gimpy MMiller, and put Chalmers on Barea when the 4 of them were in the game together.

In G2, Barea played great during his first run of the game, but his coach took him out with 6:30 left in the 2Q and never put back in again til the 4Q of a deuce game. You cant expect him to have any rhythm left. The Miami coach topped this bonehead move in the 1Q of G3 when he put in Haslem and took out Bosh rather than Anthony - we all know Bosh is a bit of a box, so you HAD to leave him in after he just had B2B dunks and got his first bit of confidence in this series.

Anyway, when Dirk is out of the game, Barea is their best chance to create "team" offence.

Mavs 5-0 this season when he started.  Great job by coach to change lineups . Heat changed lineups today and it seemed backfired.
