I have spurs from a previous bet on the series to end in 5, but not feeling great about it. I think Spurs will be up by dd at some point in the game (but Thunder will come back) and I might hedge my initial bet at that point. Brook is the luckiest coach in history. First Barkley and K Smith plead on air (after game 2) to put Jackson in starting lineup, which he does for game 3. (Where would this a-hole be without TNT?) Then the refs give Perkins a bunch of fouls (like they did in the Clippers series) because everyone and their mothers (except for Brooks) knows the Thunder are usually better off playing without him team, which really helped them in game 3 (just look at the +/- for Perk and Adams who replaced him. Then, at the end of the game, Durant yells at Brooks to take Ibaka out of the game (

), and Brooks like some rookie coach looks down the bench and asks for a replacement. At which point, the TNT guys start asking who the real coach is? I'll tell you who the real coaches are:

TNT, the refs (for getting Perkins off the floor) and Durant.

I will probably have write-up on the Pacers/Heat game 5.

BB appreciate the response. Brooks is laughable I agree. Pop surely is ready to counter the Ibaka return, no?

Perhaps most important tonight is the performance of Parker. When he's looking lost like he did in game 3, the Spurs look vulnerable. Would you agree that Parker is the key? I don't have anything to back this up, but it seems like Parker sometimes gets into multiple game ruts where it looks like he has zero confidence. Does he slump again or will he return to his form from the first couple games?

If he doesn't excel, I don't think it matters how well Ginobili, Duncan, Leonard play...

The new backcourt of Jackson and Westbrook looks extremely formidable. If they dominate the backcourt battle again tonight, they will win the series. Not sure Pop can do anything to counter that move. Brooks kind of lucked into it (with TNT&#x27;s help). And I really don&#x27;t think I&#x27;m overreacting. I&#x27;ve watched a lot of basketball and having Westbrook play the 2, with Jackson playing the point is a lethal combination. I think the Spurs best chance now is for Ibaka&#x27;s level of play to drop way off.

With Westbrook focused on guarding Parker and Ibaka&#x27;s help over the top, they shut him down in game 3 to perfection. We&#x27;ll see what Pop has to counter this but in my opinion, he should start Diaw over Splitter to pull Ibaka out of the paint. Brooks is a terrible coaching on the fly type of guy, but given time he has proven he can make adjustments, just takes him a good amount of time. That 3 day rest was crucial before game 3 for Brooks and Ibaka.

Wish we were getting more from you these days, although I can understand you not wanting to deal with the knuckleheads. It is amazing how a series can come down to some role player making his shots, but I totally agree: Diaw will be the key. He has to hit his shots tonight (and draw guys out of the paint) if the Spurs want to win.

It&#39;s very amusing to me to think that a 3 day rest benefits the coach (presumably so he can watch TNT and figure out how to manage his team?).  I don&#39;t like the idea that the game comes down to the play of Boris Diaw though. If I&#39;m Ibaka I just ask Diaw to jack up those threes he loves to hoist up.But I see where LC is going with Westbrook adjusting to a defend Parker focus. Makes perfect sense. Can he frustrate Parker once again?

Yes. If he is not selfish and does what the coach asks (which is to focus on D), he can shut him down. Westbrook is one of the most athletic guys in the league, he can almost do anything he puts his mind to; unfortunately, he does not have a great mind.

I took Diaw over 12.5 pts&#x2B;rbs -105.  And parker over 2.5 fts -130Got SAS &#x2B;2.5 for game and over 207.5.  Pace was nuts last contest.
