Beal to the Suns

Wizards practically gave away Beal... Straight up salary dump for the Wizards.   Horrible move for the Suns...Who is their Point Guard? Is their enough touches for all 3...Then they have no Depth....Pretty sure they are trading Denadre Ayton..not sure how they can afford all 4 players and fit it under the cap...As all 4 players make 169 Million ..Beal should have gone to the Fakers or the Heat..He would get a lot more touches and be able to score more.....Both Fakers and Heat could have gotten him based on what the Wizards got from the Suns. 

Another KD super team. Cupcake had Kyrie/Harden and depth and could not make it work with the Nets....

Bruce Brown ..Yes the same Bruce brown that was the Nuggets 1st man off the bench.....and averaged...11.5 points per game in the Finals

When u have Kyrie/Harden/KD...and u have the above on the bench..How much more do u need...Mills and Curry can Score..Brown is an elite defender and can score...Big bodies in Griffin/Drummond...

So the Suns just had CP3/Booker/KD/Ayton and flopped....Now going all in on Beal who is no spring chicken and is coming off couple of injury seasons and due 200 million next 4 season......I think the Problem might be more of KD and his super teams just don't work...

Well its all but a wrap for Chris Pauls title hopes I thought the trade would have at least included Ayton but an aging Paul and Shamet is practically nobody the Suns definitely won that trade

Nets didn't acquire Curry until after the Harden trade and KD is a clown he should have just stayed with GS

Dave is right. That Nets team should've won it all.  I still remember watching that last shot that KD hit while I was at Diamond Dolls and practically yelling at the stupid dancer for the 8th time to get tf outta the way so I could see if KDs toe was on the line on that little TV from across the room.

KD will get rest throughout the season, and much like every other team nowadays, they will probably not care much about seeding, but more about health going into the playoffs.  

Now who will Paul go to?  Sixers seems about right lol.  Paul and Harden and Embiid.  lolol.  Perfect.  Back to the Clippers maybe?   Lake show?  

Book will shift to point guard. Ayton is not getting traded. New owner wants to keep him, Vogel likes him, and Suns are committed to paying the luxury tax. Secondly, who exactly would want to trade for Ayton and his new huge contract? He is staying put. 

I'm a Suns fan but do I think they'll now be able to beat Denver? Nope. Always liked Beal but I'm wondering if KDs best days are behind him and I still don't know if Ayton can get to the next level. Only time will tell but Phoenix is running out of it.

I am a season ticket holder and these are my thoughts to your question: (1) nope absent injury this doesn't get them past Denver or Golden State for best in the West, (2) KDs best days are behind him as they were after he left Golden State but that doesn't mean he can't be highly productive anyway, (3) Ayton is staying put and he can't get to the next level. That level isn't in him (consistently anyway) so we all need to have less expectations for him frankly. If they paired him with a defensive minded big man (like Dwight Howard in his prime) I think it will be serviceable. The man only plays basketball because he get paid really well to do it. He doesn't love basketball. (4) I love love love Beal. Always have all the way to his college days. I really hope he can blow it up here. I also worry that his best days are behind him but like KD can probably be highly productive. (5) Need a true point guard to pair with Book because that isn't what Book does.

Drummond, Griffin, Millsap, and Aldridge were beat up bodies and all unplayable. Bruce Brown was a key rotation player and sometimes starter that couldn't really be lumped in as "depth". This dude really said Lamarcus Aldridge. That had to be a joke. Was he even there in the Kyrie/Harden/KD years or didn't he come afterwards? Are you just rattling off names or did you even watch any of those games.

The problem is most of the NBA superstars don't know how to lead.  They were never taught.  And for most, it's not something that comes naturally.  Lillard, CP3, Harden, Irving, Morant, Butler, etc... won't ever lead a team to a championship, because they don't have any leadership ability - they're great players, but they don't know how to motivate and guide and get the most out of their teammates.  Their only hope of winning a ring is being a role player on a team with an actual leader.  KD only won one when he wasn't the leader of the team. Same with AD.  

CP3 was/is actually a great leader.

KD is not a 'leader'.

I have been around him enough...his hs coach at   Montrose Christian is the same guy I managed the team for at Flint Hill Prep.

Dennis Scott my buddy was a leader...KD is a tremendous player, an all time great  but he is a follower.

Beal is a follower.

Booker can lead but always seems to be subservient when it counts.

The best in the West is still Denver.

Dallas did some nice things.

That bench in Brooklyn was mostly hot garbage.
