BOS is -130 FAV for G5, but ORL is -130 FAV for Series???

WTF? How is Boston favored for G5, but then underdogs for the whole series? Orlando will win the next 2???
 
What am I missing??

Boston is -125 for series right now brother thats the first thing you missing... The other thing you are missing is Boston is at home after beating Orlando the other night on the road. Did you think they would be the dog tonight??? Don't really get your question

Magic is favored -130 for the series. That's what I don't get if they are dogs for G5.

The question is: how are the Magic favored for the series? They're playing on the road in both games. they're dogs for G5.

Pinnacle has Orlando -135 and Boston +120 for the series.  Boston is not the betting favorite to win the series no matter what Q_the_money's book says.

If boston is:

-130 for g5
+190 for g6
-130 for g7

Why would they be favored for the series?

Some sites have the Celts favored for the series and some have the Magic favored.
 
I got the Celts -125 at one and Even at another one.

I may be wrong.
 
But the Magic and Celtics are fairly even
 
So what determines if a team is favored or not....the consensus...which means a people bet a team or in this case a series matchup....then the book will adjust the series price accordingly
 
So some books will show different lines based on the voting consensus....
 
Now why the lines are mirror opposite from one book to the next....I do not know.
