v MIA 96-102 - Josh Smith their leading scorer scored 12 points on 25% shooting. He was averaging 17.2 points on 45% shooting in Feb.
v PHI 113-96 - Philly shot 42.7% that game.
v ORL 103-87 - Orlando shot 41.6% that game.
Summary: The games against Philly and Orlando went under due to poor shooting performances by their opponents. Detroit scored over 100 points in both those games. In the game against Miami they were close to cracking the 100 mark but Josh Smith had one of his worst shooting nights this season.
OFFENCE/DEFENCE
Last 6 games: 102.8/102.6
Detroit have allowed and scored over 100 points 4 out of last 6 games.
Season: 99.9/102.9
Summary: There's a very good chance of Detroit scoring and allowing over 100 points as their overall offence for the season has improved slightly and their defence remains horrible.
FATIGUE
Detroit have had a days rest and should come out with energy.

BROOKLYN
O/U LAST 6 GAMES
3-2-1
Why 2 of those games went under (1 pushed):
v SA 103-89 - Spurs were missing a hand full of starters and were coming off a double OT B2B game. Spurs also shot a horrid 39.7%.
v PHI - 108-102 - Pushed.
v BOS 85-79 - Brook Lopez and Deron Williams were out for the Nets (their 1st and 3rd scoring options), whilst Joe Johnson scored 6 points of 2-7 shooting. Nets and Celtics shot horribly, shoot 39.3% and 37.8% from the field respectively.
Summary: Nets last game went under due to the Spurs missing key players and poor shooting. There was a push against Philly with both teams scoring over 100. The Boston game was a brick-fest with both teams shooting below 40% and the Nets were missing Lopez and Williams, while Joe Johnson scored only 6 points.
OFFENCE/DEFENCE
Last 6 games: 98.3/98.5
Nets have scored and allowed over 100 points in 3 of their last 6 games.
Season: 97.7/100
Summary: Not much differences in the Nets offensive and defensive numbers between last 6 games versus season. I believe there is a good chance they can score over 100 and give up 100+.
FATIGUE
This will be the 2nd game of a B2B in which they schooled the Spurs last night. However, all players, with the exception of Shaun Livingston who played 31 minutes, played under 30 mins.
ROSTER
Brook Lopez still out - won't be a factor as the Nets have acclimatized to playing without him.

Personally I would take Nets if I had to choose. Momentum is on their side currently after beating the Spurs which I believe will carry over to this game and add in the revenge factor as well. Pistons have beat them up twice already, it is pretty tough to snatch 3 wins against another team unless you are OKC, Miami, Spurs, Indiana etc. Remember this isn't the same Nets as earlier in the season, they are confident and have gone 12-4 this year.

I have a pretty good feel for the Nets this year as I watch every game. I'm not a total person, so I have no opinion on the over/under. The nets looked awful last night and it was very frustrating to watch. Yes they beat the spurs by double digits but if the spurs were healthy they would have wiped the floor with BK.
Dwill looks totally out of sync. He looks like he is trying to force everything, dumb passes, getting the ball stolen from him, etc. I wish they would go back to having him come off the bench. The bench players are a better fit for him. When he gets the ball he always wants to run and push the pace....the rest of the starters KG, Pierce, JJ, and Livingston are not run and run players. I really want livingston to handle pg duties and have dwill play off the ball. Because having livingston play off the ball is stupid, his man can just sag off him on D. That's why when alan anderson starts he spreads the floor more because defenders have to respect his shot.
All this being said I think the nets should still win, but I would advise to stay away from this game. But the pistons arent a 3 pt shooting team and that is something that hurts the nets. However, they have Drummond, smith, and Monroe who will probably terrorize BK on the boards and lead to a lot of second chance pts. For that reason, I would stay away.
Another note...I want to see Kidd increase Garnett's minutes already...guy plays 18 minutes a game and still gets around a double double. Maybe he is waiting until after all star break. He's gotta be playing 30 minutes.

Detroit really sucks and brooklyn is playing some of the best basketball in the league. Hard for me to back a Detroit team right now. They beat brooklyn when the nets weren't that good and still had things to figure out...... Nets are playing well now

Nets and postings are going opposite ways

Agree with you in regards to D Will. He's big games have been far and few and in between and just hasn't been able to get into rhythmic form.
Pistons big men will be munching out in the paint like they have in the previous two meetings so I expect that to be the main source of points coming from Detroit. Will be needing Paul Pierce to continue his good run and would like for Garnett to get more time as well but according to some sources he may be sitting out this game.
Gun to my head, I would take the Nets but will be just playing the over.

I really wouldn't say nets are playing well...yes they have been winning lately but they are not playing well. Just look at the games vs Boston, OKC, Toronto, Spurs, and Philly recently. The nets got murdered by OKC and toronto....and barely beat teams that they should kill with their eyes closed. I'm a big nets fan, but I'm not delusional. Nets are a good team, but aren't playing well. The east is so bad that it can make any decent team look good. They should beat Detroit tonight, but with the spread at -1.5 in detroits favor, I would stay away.

why is everyone impress with the Nets? they beat a Spurs team that rested all their stars players and for the first 3 quarters of the game they had trouble until the 4th quarter Im not impress. Im happy to take the Over No KG no Lopez equals NO defense

My read on the over was spot on but I was expecting it to be a more respectably close game. Guess the Pistons have Brooklyn's number and can have their way, doing anything they want in the paint. If you could be fckd reading my half-arsed, 3am written, analysis and followed congrats.
