Can James still win MVP if GSW win?

The odds are even better at williamhill, if James and his janitors lose the series.

James to win the champinship = +650, James to win mvp +700.

So the question is, even if James loses the series, can he still win the mvp award? IMO carrying this garbage, sewage filled roster to the finals deserves tons more credit than anything durant or curry have done.

probably so, but the single accomplishment of dragging those bums, the ones that  james calls his teammates , to the championship round, that alone deserves something special

Lebron's accomplishment will be what sports media on the tv shows and radio will discuss all summer long...don't worry he will get his free publicity from now until eternity...but he's not winning the mvp on the losing team...just not the way todays nba works...it's either Curry's or Durant's to win...depends who's impact is greater over the next 2 weeks....personally i'd give it to Curry but that's just me...this is and always will be known as Steph's team, not KDs, and an MVP finals ribbon will solidify that forever.

Dr. John would purport that the real discussion that should be had here is, does Klay Thompson have a legitimate shot at finals MVP? If there answer is yes, he is currently +2500.

While it is difficult to quantify an edge here, Dr. John would argue this is a +EV play. Might be worth wagering a half unit on this.

I think I'm answering my own question here. Can james still win mpv if cavs lose? Yes he can but odds are slim. WIll James win MPV if cavs win series? Absolutely yes and no other player on the roster. So it would only make sense that if anyone is to take James and his bums  to win outright, you might as well take james as mvp because at least if they lose, u have that slim hope of this bet cashing. I've already got enough James and company futures so i decided to just sit back. But i will hedge somewhat by parlaying gs 4-2 here and there.
