Some are frauds but there are some good ones too. Problem is that people that buy picks also have completely unrealistic expectations and terrible money management skills. If a tout gave out 56% winners for a year that should be considered a huge success by the bettor, BUT instead most people would trash that same tout calling them a fraud because people that buy picks want to bet parlays, every TV game, buy points, and betting completely different amounts on units rather than be consistent from day to day. By doing all that they end up burning their bankroll and looking for someone to blame which makes the tout an easy target.

Couldn&#x27;t have said that any better. Spot on. People don&#x27;t have the discipline to sit back and just do 1 bet per day or wait for the tout/pro to give them the play. They get impatient and want to bet on every single game, or on multiple sports.
