Not many expected the Raps to win against the Cavs ... I don't care about the spread now ... I just think the money line on the Cavs to win game 4 would be like 50% - 60% yield which is great.
I can't see the Raps winning Game 4, it would be over in 5 games (4-1), I just can't see any other result, it's just impossible for the Raps to repeat what they did tonight.
And this is how gambling works - the Raps win by so many points, everyone goes on them, excited about the Money Line value on them for Game 4 ... but honestly it's the favorite the one that is called 'favorite' for a reason.
I think whatever the odds are on Game 4 - this will be a GIFT, simply to bet on the Cavs and make 50% - 60% return on the 'investment', that's the way I see it.
I would love bpickin to say something (got 11 wins in the Playoffs) if he sees this thread.

It's not impossible for Raps to repeat what they did today because they only played decent and are playing at home again but it is practically impossible for Cavs to repeat the horrible game they had so I like the play

I think most people would be on to this and backing the Cavs. Now that the Cavs were made to drop one like the Warriors they will do it in five unless the powers that be are looking to fabricate a close series or cash in on Cavs backers a couple more times.

Line opened at 6. A whole point higher then today which was 5. Now it's not a guarentee, but normally that tells you the team is not going to lose. They may not cover, but they probably won't lose SU. Now that the whole world sees the cavs can lose, an inflated number will be much more enticing to a Toronto bettor to bet ml... I have not decided which way I am going in this game yet. I have to see line movement or lack there of and also a couple other important things I check. It will be interesting to see which way the line moves tho. Especially with cavs off a loss...

Just go to NBA.com and watch the 3 minute summary of Game 3, it shows the crowd ...
I think the NBA wanted to bring so much interest to Canada, and it was weekend, they know on Monday it would be harder for people to come, so their team winning one is a reason to sell more tickets, more rating, but then you come to a show and the show must over....
I never thought the NBA can be scripted like the WWE but it seems more and more reasonable for us to claim the NBA is scripted, with the total over/under hitting the mark in the past 2 games, now with the side winning the game .... selling Cavs +4.5 at halftime as a sucker bet as well.
I honestly don't believe the NBA is played genuinely, it's hard to point our or explain - but it does seem to be more scripted than having a genuine game....
Cavs all in, MONEY LINE, for Game 4 .... you would have tons of Canadians betting otherwise and/or just going to see the game ... but it's time to say goodbye for Canada in the NBA Playoffs for 2016.

BPICKIN do you have a pick for OKC-GSW gm 3? need pick for gm 4 Toronto vs Cavs?
I have a side picked on both games, but I am waiting to see what happens to the lines to make a play or not. The lines have been very sharp with Movemwnt and lack thereof so picks come close to game time.
I have okc for series and championship and have no problem betting golden when necessary. ( just like I did the other day)

honestly man, lay off the pipe. Scripted????? Wtf is wrong with you people!
I guess if half the world worships a moon rock in a big black box, I shouldn't be so surprised. People are inherently dumb and need belief that higher powers are always in control. Grow up

St2ee - I'm not an idiot. By "scripted" I don't mean someone who feels extremely bored with his life is writing a script for the NBA Playoff Games deciding exactly what would happen move after move.
Scripted means the game is not being played genuinely.
Yes, I do not believe the NBA is genuine. I do believe it's much more similar to the WWE.
There is no way in the world that an over/under line, given before the game is 201.5 and then drops to 197.5 only to end with 199 points, there is no way the total points scored were scored genuinely, no way.
There is no way the Cavs would have covered 2 games in a row if the game was genuine (saw Lowrie leaving the court? why? where all those decisions are coming from?)
Just beat it - the games are not genuine.
And if you don't believe in those "fairy tales" it doesn't matter - you're here for the money, right? so what reason do you have to bet on Toronto for Game 4 except for throwing it away? It would be a sucker bet (not the spread, the money line).
There are people running the show, if they believed in proper and genuine play the odds would never be like they are now.
Oh, and last thing - bank holiday or not (Victoria day), a weekday is never the same like weekend, never.

What do you mean the lines have been "sharp"? In every game, the winning team has covered the line by 10+ points.

What is line movement going to tell you that you don't already know? Sharps will be on Raptors, squares will be on Cleveland. Not rocket science.

who cares about squares and sharps? Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once I a while. I care about who is gonna cover the spread. That is the only thing I care about. That is the only thing I am talking about and emphasizing on. Nothing else matters

Then why do you care about line movement?

Cavs take game 4. It was a cute win for the Raptors. No one wants to see the Cavs clinch the East in Toronto. Better that they lost 1 so they could clinch at home and celebrate in front of their fans. Not like last year where they had to celebrate in the ATL. Game 3 is what I call a daily dose of false hope for Raptors fans. Sorry Toronto, just not good enough to compete against the Cavs.

Hence the line dropping to 2 before tip off and we all see the score board... Line was 3 last couple days only to drop to 2.5 all afternoon and then minutes before tip off it drops to 2. That says a lot to me.

You're silly. A) the line has fluctuated between 3 and 2.5 all day long. B) you claim to not care which side the sharps are on, yet the line dropping from 3 --> prior to gametime means "a lot" to you. Do you see the discrepancy?
