It is just the fact that even elite teams usually will allow the game to be closer than it should be, and let mediocre teams like Atlanta feed off their home crowds and go on big runs that can put he game out of reach. NBA Home court advantage is more real than any of the other big sports MLB, NFL, NHL in my honest opinion. Because he court is so condensed, everything is magnified etc...

JJ Reddick being out 6 weeks with a busted wrist doesn't help their cause either. I still like the Clippers but don't be surprised if this one goes right down to the last few possessions in the 4th quarter.. I'll say Clippers 102- 99

4-4 road team vs 5-3 home team. line seems about right.

hawks are not terrible. they have some nice pieces and have enough talent to win against anyone on any given night or atleast play anyone tough on any given night. wouldnt surprise me if hawks have a lead going into 4th q and cp3 pulls out the late win. jeff teague is playing well from what i have heard, and al horford is better in the post than anyone on the clippers.
