Clippers catching points because they are on a b2b. Last time they lost and were on a b2b recently they followed up the next day by beating the Knicks at their homecourt in a blowout fashion.
Hawks have had one good game lately against the Bulls and thats not convincing enough for me to lay the 5.5. All their recent wins were against below .500 teams and theyve still gone 6-4 in their last 10. They even lost to the lowly Suns 2 games ago ! Where as the Clippers have been consistent going 7-3 last 10 and look who theyve lost to. @ Toronto whos on a 9 game win streak and @ Cleveland. The only disappointing loss was to the Kings who put up 110 points on them, but that was 8 games ago. Lately theyve been on point and Paul seems to have near perfect chemistry with his team.
As for the drama with Griffin and trade rumours with Teague I dont think it effects either team at all. Griffin has been out for a long time now and theyve been doing great without him. Teague will continue to play no differently , he will want to prove himself.
To me what this game comes down to is who is the better , more talented team playing better as of late. You could argue the Clippers are playing better but at the very least playing at the equal level of the Hawks. The only concern as I first mentioned is the b2b factor and the fact that the Clippers have struggled historically in Atlanta. If you think that is worth what I am currently seeing as 5.5 + points then take the Hawks. But I dont see it being as big a factor as people think , especially given the Clippers recent b2b results. They will compete here, So for me its the
CLIPPERS +5.5
As always good luck everyone sorry there's a lot to read but feel free to add and criticize Im sure there's still lots I missed. CHEERS !

I'm a bit surprised to see the Clips getting that many points. I know Atl rolls deeper than Clips, so the thinking may be Atl wears them out in the end from the b2b. I got Clips 1st half +3 as well.
