Clippers ML. just like last Sunday
Loss for words as to how disgraceful of a performance this is in a home playoff game . Harden has been a playoff disgrace his whole career so his performance don’t surprise me.

They gave themselves a ghost of a chance after Paul George hit a couple of too little, too late threes, but then these bozos allowed a 4-point play with a few seconds left in the quarter to make the 4th quarter deficit insurmountable.

Harden needs to borrow that diaper.

Never seen a team have a great win on road in game 4 .. and come home and decide . Nah we don’t want to even think about going to round 2. Guess it’s all in on Dallas moneyline game 6.

They were behind in every series vs Mavs last few years and beat them 3 times. You are running a lot of trash, but that's what happens with trolls. you clearly are one.

TommyTuna, don't cry. Dry your eye.
I didn't post in this thread to troll you or your selection. I've never heard of you. I bet the Clippers, too, so we both made a terrible call on Game 5. I could've just as easily chosen any thread with something like "Clippers win" or "Clippers cover" in the thread title, whatever. My criticism in this thread was solely pointed towards the dreadful collection of complete bums we know as the L.A. Clippers. And I don't care what they did in years past against the Mavs in the playoffs, nor do I care what they did earlier in the series or what they'll do in the next game. My insults were focused on this singularly pathetic performance tonight at home in Game 5 of a 2-2 series.
And oh, what a stink bomb that was. Can anyone recall a professional basketball team losing a 1st half at home by 10 points, and then losing the 3rd quarter by another 10 points, and then losing the 4th quarter by another 10 points? That would be sad enough if it occurred during a meaningless regular season NBA game, which is to say almost any NBA regular season game. But for an egg of this enormous size to be laid in Game 5 of a tied series is absolutely stunning. I refer back to my comment in post #19 - the Clippers just don't care. No team that cares about its fortunes, its fans, or each other puts forth a performance like the one we saw burped up earlier tonight by these unlikable Clipnuts.
Aging stars Paul George, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook shot a combined 8-36. Guys, that's 22.2%. I'm inclined to give Westbrook a pass for his bad game because that guy is always trying his ass off, but George and Harden? Those are two players blessed with extraordinary basketball skills who at the same time have their mental circuitry phucked up. There has to psychological explanations for why players this great can too often submit atrocious box scores like these two often do. Nearly six months ago, when I learned the news of the Clippers surprising acquisition of James Harden from Philadelphia, I called him "human championship repellant." Yup, and he still is. Every April and May.

He didn't say that. And that doesn't make sense. If you bet the Clippers, then complain, you join that pack? What pack? You join the Clippers? You join the pack of people who bet the Clippers? But didn't they join the pack of Clippers bettors the moment they bet the Clippers? Is it the pack of people who bet on the Clippers and then complained about their performance? Because I can't think of a more rational response to that pitiful effort by Clippers bettors than to complain about it. That is a basketball team that right now deserves bashing from every direction. Of that I'm sure Confucious would agree.
