Memphis unders have been somewhat of a pet play for us seeing as though it has gone 7-3 over the past 10 games with the Grizzlies giving up only 88 points a game.
One of the keys to beating this Clippers outfit is to limit their fast
break points and bog them down into a half court game - something
Memphis do very well. Over the past 5 games, Clippers have averaged 29
fast break points when they've won (TOR, PHI and POR) and only 16 when
they lose (MIA and SAS). Thus, we're sure Joerger's main focus will be on slowing the Clippers' offense down.
This game also sees the long awaited return of Allen which will bolster their guard defense against CP3. Also, due to the nature of his injury there will probably be a lot of rust and will impact his offensive production (albeit minimal).
With both teams well rested, expecting a hard fought game but more importantly at a slow pace that the Grindhouse is renowned for...

Cmthursday, how do you like pistons? All atlantas big and back up bigs are injured with Teague and Carroll questionable. Should be a buffet for Monroe and Drummond? Thoughts?

Dwade007: Yes there is still value at 195... I mean whenever the books give you a Memphis total in the 190's there is always great value.
Chen: Yes, on paper Detroit should win. Good spot for them after two disappointing losses to Charlotte back-to-back. But they've been so damn patchy and unpredictable we'd rather stay away... But if you were looking for our lean, it would be Detroit.
BamaTaxMan: We do. Revenge spot for a blowout at home and also a game Gasol did not play in. Memphis loses if they play LAC's style and fast-paced game which I really doubt they'll do or if CP3 goes absolutely berserk.. LAC's half court offense is very limited..
