Concerns over Referee Assignments for Tonight

Question

Dan Crawford is the head ref for tonight's Dallas vs. OKC matchup.

As of the end of last year's playoffs, the Mavs were 2-16 in games reffed by Dan Crawford.

I don't want to turn this into a conspiracy thread, but I just want to point out the ref assignment so you all can keep it in mind as you cap this one.

In the 2011 playoffs he reffed Dallas vs. Portland in Game 2, which Dallas won.

Free throws were balanced during that game. I would lay a wager on Dallas, but seeing this ref assigment...I'm hesitant to go against a 2-16 (or 3-16 including this year's game) trend.

Any thoughts?

How do you know or where do you go to look for who is the head ref for the game?

Also, tonight T. Brothers is sighting who is 1-9 ats for the home team favorite of 0 to -4.5 spread.

Here are all 3 refs stats for home favorite (0-4.5)

1) T.Brothers ( 1-9 ats for the home teams )

2) D. Crawford ( 14-10 ats )

3) K.Mauer ( 3-8 ats )

Here is the link to the NBA&#x27;s ref announcement. The assigments are announced around 9 AM Eastern time on the day of the game.&#xD;&#xA;https://www.nba.com/news/referee.html&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I saw the home team angle, which is strong. I just worry because Crawford has a strong track record across several seasons.

I don&#x27;t know.  I made the mistake of betting against the Mavs last time Crawford officiated, when the Mavs covered anyway.  But I&#x27;ve been watching the Mavs long enough to be very wary of betting the Mavs with Crawford officiating.  &#xD;&#xA;I would point out that in a few of those losses the Mavs were dogs who lost and covered, so the ATS numbers are better than 3-16.
