Washington Wizards +1.5
Both teams barely made any changes in their roster. I expect the younger Wizards team to take this preseason game a little more serious the 76ers. Last season, both games in Washington went to OT and was decided by a basket. This could've have been a different play if it were in Philly. I expect John Wall to shine here. Leaning on the OVER.
Indiana Pacers +3.0 and UNDER 184.5
This is one pre-season game I'm surely watching. It's only been days since Rip joined the Bulls and it would be interesting to see how his role plays out. Pacers looks really good on paper. They signed George Hill and David West to add that perimeter scoring they lack. I like the Pacers here because they will be the better team in the event that the Bulls' decide to not go hard and build Rose's form slowly. Both teams are scrappy and so the UNDER play.
Detroit Pistons -4.0 and UNDER 193.0
More units on the UNDER than the side play. This game will be baaaaaad! Pistons is the only other team the Cavs managed to beat last season and the Pistons were stronger then. I'm not sure if Stuckey will play since he has yet to sign a contract with the Pistons. It would be fun to watch Kyrie Irving but I like Detroit's Knight-Monroe-Prince mix there. I'm also looking forward to Will Bynum since he'll probably eat up Rodney's numbers if he didn't sign.
Thinking about: Memphis Grizzlies -10.5
Grizzlies fielding optimal lineup against the Hornets is still a bit mismatched. Hornets barely had any time to mesh and chemistry would be the difference here. This one's just a lean because I never like playing double digit faves on pre-season games. Most often than not, they end up allowing a back door cover and rest the starters whenever available.
