D. Rose: Genetically Inferior?

Dude can NOT stay healthy.  Have a feeling that this is going to be a pattern his whole career... too bad, as he has some nice talent, but the body's just not there.

He has talent out of this world.  But he's still never won anything.  I guess he's cursed, lol.

Hasn't won anything, and gets hurt WAY too often.  I feel bad for the guy, as that's gotta be frustrating as all hell. Feel bad for his team too.

Idk about that.  Just freakish things man.  He's so young and played 90% of games before this year.   He'll be ok.  

Wasn't he hurt last year too?  Maybe i'm wrong.

He has been very injury prone this season and it's a bad sign that he gets injured in different parts of the body... Ankle, knee, finger, etc.. Looks like his body is indeed getting brittle and it's strange

yeah, the title was a little extreme, i admit.  but then again, when you have someone that seems so fragile, not sure what else to call it.

the guy never got hurt in his life until this year. and they were all probably a product of rushing back too soon and not coming back 100%.

He had missed a grand total of 6 games in 3 seasons and had never been significantly injured in his basketball career (HS, college, pros).  I think this was a product of one injury leading to the next and always rushing back earlier then he should have.  No way to know if this will be persistent through his career going forward.  It's possible, but it also could be a one year that won't recur if he;s allowed to properly heal.  People forget that Jordan missed almost his entire 3rd season.  He wanted to come back sooner but they didn't let him.  He was angry at the time but ultimately agreed that if he had it could have ruined him.

And I think wearing all the tape and ankle brace and whatever else made him stiff and unnatural.

gonna go ahead and nominate this for the most idiotic thread of 2012...

Plays to hard, crashes and drives into people like Bird and Iverson. Body will never hold up. To bad cause lots of talent but gonna go out like Sayers.

Maybe because the way he play ball, he's so aggresive that for him if they lose the game he put responsibility on himself

i think it's a combo of body type and reckless play.

I second that nomination. He played in 97% of his games in his career before this year. To say "dude's always hurt" is one of the most moronic statements of the year. He takes a beating every time he takes it to the hoop, (nowhere near the amount of calls Queen James gets) and I have to believe this condensed schedule played a MAJOR factor in not only Rose's injury, but every injury sustained in the NBA this year. I guess what it all boils down to is if you don't have anything intelligent to say then don't say anything at all.
