Just because he had a -23 point differential while on the floor, is no reason to get down on him fellas...

get this point differential per player:

    mckinnie +24

    curry +19

    green +16

    klay -1

    igoudala -5

    portland

    lillard -23

leonard -17 (yeah the guy hitting 3's got a standing ovation)

kanter +7 (and only got to play 7 minutes)

I couldn't understand why that Collins and Kanter combo didn't play more in the second half. They were giving them fits for a short time on the offensive glass. Portland needs Kanter's scoring but he is fasting so probably low on energy...Not everyone can be Hakeem while fasting...I thought that was poor coaching not seeing what worked the most the first half and sticking with it. They just starting keeping the ball in Dame's hands with no ball movement. 33 points in a half at home in a playoff game is terrible. Yes the players were awful but I think Stott's just was expecting and hoping Dame would turn it on when I think most of us knew he didn't have it at all. He looked injured or really fatigued for some reason..

He's fatigued because he can't beat the constant double teams.

Which is understandable but Stott's needs to see that and run the offense through CJ and spread the floor with shooters. Especially after scoring 13 points in the 3rd quarter....They did nothing different. Just a team that's not good enough all around.

Yeah agree the kid's begging the coach to do something.  He is saying in the media he's incapable of doing anything.

Spread for the next game -3.5 Warriors, seemingly has Vegas gifting the next game to the Warriors,

At times they did run it through CJ. The Warriors are gonna make anybody but Dame and CJ. The next best scorers come of the bench and are also guards, Seth and Rodney (Hood could play forward). They're both good but iffy. Hood is hurt and Seth is literally getting big brothered. Who is gonna step up when Dame and CJ don't have it. Look at Aminu and Harkless. These two dudes start. What have the done....EVER!?

They're both good but iffy. Hood is hurt and Seth is literally getting big brothered. Who is gonna step up when Dame and CJ don't have it. Look at Aminu and Harkless. These two dudes start. What have the done....EVER!?

Which is understandable but Stott's needs to see that and run the offense through CJ and spread the floor with shooters. Especially after scoring 13 points in the 3rd quarter....They did nothing different. Just a team that's not good enough all around.
Yeah I did see they ran a lot of the offense through CJ especially to start the 4th because Dame was on the bench. But then once he came back in it was bad shot after bad shot and just milking clock waiting for a pick... Aminu and Harkless are useless on offense for sure. I thought their only chance was to go small and run but they just had no urgency, while on the other side Draymond is racing up and down the court looking like Magic Johnson. Haha

When I first started spending time in Portland, and i'd talk about basketball, i'd ask, "What's up with Harkless and Aminu? They're good character guys. Likeable. Decent defenders but they're really similar and they're both kind of trash. Do you need two guys like that? I think you guys need more scoring from the forward position." They would look at me as if to say, "Californians think they know everything." Like I was telling them how to raise their kids.

He is playing with separated ribs! Happened near the end of the first half of game 2, when Looney rolled over him diving for a loose ball.

"Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard has struggled during the Western Conference finals series against the Golden State Warriors, and it might partly be attributed to injury.

Lillard has been playing with separated ribs, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

NBA.com will have more on this shortly."

Its just Lame Dame's team or Portland's PR team trying to spin it....He's been trash 4 straight games now.. Really Denver should be in the WCF if not for CJ's historic performance carrying them in game 7. Not surprised...After seeing Dame vs the Pelicans last year...I knew he does not have that 'It" factor that can carry his team when it matters the most.

I've watched more Portland basketball than probably anyone in the forum. He has it as much anyone in the league minus maybe 10 guys. He's getting a bum rap but he's actually a good player, and unselfish player, and a good leader. He's just struggling but that has a lot to with the team he is playing. People forgot how good the Warriors can be defensively. And role players like Looney, Cook, and Bell have rings. This team is just outgunned and outclassed.

And I believe the rib thing and we all know why that info wasn't made public. I feel sorry for Portland backers. Hopefully they read the lines and took them 1h.

You only get so many chances...Portland may never ever get back to the WCF in Dame's career again ..Great player and all but just not a  elite superstar player....Very few players are....

The problem with Portland is their strength (the backcourt) is the Warrior's strength. And the Warriors backcourt is better, which negates any and all advantage Portland has.

The seperated rib thing is getting traction. They need to sit him and start Rodney Hood or Seth Curry. Dame has a huge heart and is a diving on the floor type of player. This lack of hustle isn't like him.

Kerrs staff had a brilliant defensive game plan....double up on dame in the backcourt which is why he started Damian jones with the more athletic ability and agility to try and cover dame at the perimeter....Stots obviously has no game plan for curry because if you watched the game why in the world is Seth curry covering steph? The average NBA fan forgets about how bad a coach can be out coached....there's a reason Portland gets swept again

the warriors are 30-1 without kd and people really bet against that has nothing to do with dame, just like it had nothing to do with harden. Their fine players but curry klay and dray are nba LEGENDS
