Remember the dog days of the NBA where it suffered viewership and then David stern turned it around. Sure he had his moments where it seemed like he was trying to polish up a certain culture that was hip hop and rap influenced. But it kept the players and egos on check and coaches were still able to coach.
Adam silver is now going through the phase where nba viewership is suffering the only thing that’s helping him out is probably the gambling aspect of it. But the ball is on his court now and he has some serious challenges to address with the league.
IMO I would take David stern if he was back in his peak days commissioning for the league.
