We have done good the last few nights - let's see if we can keep it going. Let's look at some numbers:
Milw 26
-3 Denvr 34
Denver opens up as 3 pt fav (madduxsports.com) currently the same or possibly at 2.5. I give Milw at rating of 26 and Denver 34 (lower the better). On paper Milw would be the better team. I wish it worked that way - take the better team on paper and we all win. However, I guess it wouldn't be a challenge to figure it out. I love the challenge of what we do. Anyways my data says take the home team in these situations. I'm riding with Denver -3.
My Plays:
1. Denver -3
2. Small small parlay - Brook +190 ml and Denver -3 pays 4.5 to 1 a couple of data points indicate brooklyn can win su - wouldn't go crazy - thus a small parlay.
Good luck all

Makes complete sense, however, hard to gauge from a betting perspective. That's where the oddsmakers opening number comes into play. They have their reasons why the line opened at -3 vice -3.5 or 5 or whatever. Would love to know the exact weights they use to come up with the opening number. We all speculate - even action, home court, ranks, sos, etc etc. but don't know the exact weights of what they use to determine the opening line.
