Morant will be a shell of his self if that knee just got blown out. Similar to Rose who’s game was entirely reliant on outrageous athleticism
So you're saying when a lightning fast athlete blows out their knee they're not as fast ???
Wow you're on to some ground breaking stuff here ...
Thank you

Who’s hating ? I’m staying a fact. His knee didn’t look right. His game is entirely reliant on his insane athleticism. He’s not a great shooter, passer or defender.

First of all, there aren't a ton of 6'3" and under "great defenders" in the history of the NBA. And many who are great defenders are defensive specialists and not two way players. You could probably count the great defensive two-way 6'3" and under guards in the modern era of the NBA on one hand. Second, he's a volume shooter. Many great offensive guards have been volume shooters. As far as his passing, he's not a traditional facilitating point but he puts his team in a position to win more often than not. He elevates the players around him. He's a force multiplier.
Everything you have said about Ja has been complete nonsense, and I'm not even a Ja Morant guy. "He's not going to be the same after blowing out a knee." How many athletes are the same after blowing out a knee?

action is perhaps a new gambler...some ridiculous takes but seems to be quite smart at times if not more often. perhaps in due time you will realize how to just take things in stride. we don't all have to be as reactionary as stephan a smith or skip bayless. we are in the world of hot takes. i have said some dumb things too.
but ja is is still young and can improve his shot. as bad as he was vs minny he has been just as good vs the warriors. a player like him makes the sport so much more entertaining.

yea, i was just talking about the same thing with my friends... athletes who rely on their athleticism are more injury prone or their performance declines earlier in their career when faster, more athletic players come in the league. morant has a better outside game, compared to peak drose though, his game will still adapt.

@ActionMagnet
read the injury report, he is not even listed as questionable. If he blew out his knee he would be questionable to return for next years playoffs

There is nothing wrong with Morant. It’s one way of pulling out of a blowout game. He scored several buckets after JP graced his knee. It’s embarrassing for a him to even try to put that on JP.

And to be real Rose went on to have a solid career. Not a great one but still did fairly well for himself despite the injury. Most would have never come close to bouncing back, he did. Respect that
