Going with the Wizards... Nationals are celebrating their world series win tonight at the arena. They celebrated yesterday at the capitals game and CAPS won that game.

The Wizards have won the last eight meetings at home against the Pistons, winning by an average of 14 points per game and never by less than 4 points. The Wizards had a couple days off last week to get over that wrenching 159-158 giveaway against the terrible Rockets, but that wasn't enough because they were "in a fog" on Saturday night says Coach Scott Brooks when the T-Wolves came to town and blew them out, 131-109. Meanwhile the T-Wolves were playing their first game without Karl-Anthony Towns, and they DID show up with everyone stepping up in his absence.

The Pistons beat the Nets 113-109 on Saturday night, lifting their record to 3-4. Following each of their first two wins, they lost to the Hawks 117-100 and to the Raptors 125-113. Wiz -3 for me tonight.
