Take Knicks ML &#x2B;750 AND&#xA;Knicks &#x2B;12.5 to hedge above bet&#xA; &#xA;I think the Knicks outright win this game but you can never be sure, so margin of error is always a good thing and take the &#x2B;12.5 to hedge the smaller ML bet.&#xA;I have the Knicks by 5 to 6 points in an outright win....&#xA; &#xA;Knicks covered plenty of games without Porz and did OK playing small ball for awhile earlier in the year.&#xA;Cleveland beat them by 3 and really have nothing to prove and probably will go about playing not to injure themselves while the Knicks will go for the 50/50 balls.&#xA;Knicks will want to show their talent and try to bump off a playoff team in front of their fans.

cavs still want to win as an outside chance of moving ahead of the sixers though,right??slim chance the sixers lose their last 2 but ya never know....then again i dont think the cavs really give 2 shi.ts about what seeding they have so who knows...

I take back my Cleveland not "wanting" to win statement.

More like they would like to win but will find out on any given day
any team can beat any other team.

This is very trivial to me betting on NYK tho because my system does not even know about stuff like that.

Other things to consider:

public money is on Cleveland moderately heavy. Public does not always lose but betting with them has proven unprofitable(study).

Cleveland has been UH-trocious about covering spreads which they were favored.(19 wins - 43 losses)

Knicks have lost just under 50% ATS in which they were dogs(27-32)

I see this as a game in which the fixers come out in full force afterwords tonite saying NO WAY could the Knicks have covered let alone win.

Cavs need 1 more win to clinch division. What talent do the Knicks want to show?? Hardwway Jr and Kanter are out and the Knicks already know what they have with Burke, Beasley, and O&#x2019;Quinn and Ntilikina. They have 2 meaningless games left in a failed season. Not sure how familiar you are with the NBA but teams that are eliminated from contention tend to check out. These guys what to get Home to their families and get this season over with. Hard to imagine an inspired effort from a Knicks team who has been uninspiring all year. You may squeak out a backdoor cover but ML is just a bad bet.

Again, this stat means nothing. This is a situational handicapping occurrence where the Cavs need to win the game to clinch the division. The inspires extra motivation. The Cavs may not care as much about the 3 seed but they sure as hell want to win their division. Lebron will but the team on his back as he&#x2019;s done all year.

The Sixers are a playoff team and talent wise (outside of Lebron) are better than the Cavs. Having to win a game against one of the best teams in the conference is a hell of a lot different than having to win against a bottom of the barrel scrub team with nothing to play for and half the team injured. The lack of common sense at this forum never ceases to amaze me.
