IMO, Vogel has always been a bum.
And when he coached them, that Covid championship for the Lakers was a farce, as the Lakers were allowed to rest injured players.

I know Nurkic was in early foul trouble with 2 in the first 3 mins of the game - but no clue why Vogel let O'Neale get 36 mins while Nurkic got 20 mins total.
Nurkic had more rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and points in half the time.
Shoulda put his ass back in there even if it meant getting fouled out in an elimination game.
MIN had double the offensive rebounds on top of Suns sloppy turnovers in clutch time.
Also should've had them attacking KAT and Jaden earlier in the 4th when they both were sitting there with 5 fouls each.

Wizardofroz, you used the correct word to describe the Lakers 2020 "championship", but you forgot to use all caps, so I took the liberty of adjusting that for you.

KD is 35/36 past his prime and has an achilles injury. He played great.
The biggest bum in this series is that clown mfr Beal.
Him and Tobias Harris are the most overpaid in the NBA.

@ActionMagnet
He did play well but what im saying is he took two shots in the QT and none after 6.5 minutes left, the coach didnt run any plays for him, and there was a posession where someone threw him the ball and he wasnt even looking for it.

Give me Westphal, KJ, Chambers, Majerle, Barkley, etc, over these overrated, overpaid underachievers. I'm a Suns fan, I'm pretty sure I will die without Phoenix ever seeing an Championship.

turns out kd hasnt liked his position on the suns for sometime now maybe nursing the mid season injury but i doubt that, nurkic needs the boot out of the nba, beal single handly lost the game last night and he laughed it off at a presser
next year should be exciting for them exc is retiring or something vogel gets canned and a more iron clad bench

Vogel should be on his way out.
The problem in today's NBA are the stars and how they think they are above the regular season. Never used to happen in the days of MJ, Kobe, etc...they used to love to play.
Well, Booker can eat his words about how they are "good" after he just decided to sit out most the end of the season and clearly it affected the whole camaraderie of the team. Basketball is a TEAM sport, so even when franchises go out and get some of the best players around, it takes time, months, even sometimes seasons, to gel. That is, IF they play.
So when LBJ joined Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade, the first of the "mega teams" in the NBA, they didn't have instant success. But they played through it, understood how each player performed and what was needed to be done, and then they went on to win championships. OF COURSE, having a top coach is part of it as he has to manage the egos.
The Suns are a joke thinking that Vogel could do that just b/c he won an asterisk labeled championship during the Covid year. He's a good coach, but not a championship winning coach. It's a little like comparing Bruce Bochy in baseball with Dave Roberts, though the latter is far better a coach than Vogel, despite the different sports.
KD is one of the best players in the NBA, not even a question. His attitude is NOT one of the best and Beal is a ball hog who only thinks of his own stats. Three HUGE egos on a team where the coach can't control them, they control him. So, as we witnessed, the Suns go down and very little is made of the stars sitting most of the season. I think it was less than 30 games they played together?!?
So how are you supposed to get that championship winning camaraderie if you dont' know how you play with one another on the court? Well, you can't. Enough said.
