This is the 1st game of a b2b with both teams meeting again the next day. One of the trends for b2b matchups is one team takes 1 win & 1 loss or cover but certain situations disqualifies a team to that like health, rust or chemistry factor. Clippers are back at full strength winning one against Jazz then got clobbered by Brooklyn who is more motivated to sweep the Pacific then showed off their depth versus the wizards. Memphis meanwhile missing the spacing of Brooks, of course triple J (who still hasn't played all year) & they are having a hard time finding a spot for Winslow who is rusty right now.
Play 2
Denver - 7.5
I have been riding the wizards during their 5 game win & also faded them last game. It wasn't because they are not good but they just aren't that deep so fatigue is playing a factor now for them especially they tried Westbrook to play his first b2b game of the season but still came short. This is also their last road game before going home, don't see a close game here. Jokic will feast down low & Porter may come back to life in this game. Revenge game for the Joker!
Pelicans + 9
I was planning to take on the Bucks at first glance because Pelicans have been bad on their b2b's at 1-3 this season but the last 2 wins they have Zion playing well & confident. Also having Adams & Bledsoe back healthy is a crucial in their rotation in this b2b game. Bucks is in a 3 game run but only dominated against the Kings & the Wolves who has problems with themselves. Bucks might be also looking forward to the game against the Clips / Den up next as well. I see a close game on this one & I'll take the points.
