I'm a SoCal guy who has loved the Lakers ever since Chick Hearn
signified it was time for the Fat Lady to sing with his famous (or
infamous) Refrigerator Quote: "This game's in the refrigerator! The
door's closed, the lights are out,
the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard, and the Jell-O is
jiggling...." However, I don't like The Lake Show in this situation.
Since the spread is OKC -1, the ATS trends are scary if you're a Lakers' fan. Consider:
--Lakers 1 and 10 ATS last 11 following an ATS win (a stat that doesn't seem to make sense, but, hey--)
--Lakers 0 and 7 ATS last 7 following a S.U. win.
--Lakers 0 and 4 ATS last 4 in Oklahoma City.
As they too often do, the Lakers will reenergize themselves from now until the beginning of Game 7 and then put away the opposition.
