Thoughts:

C's 11-19 in the playoffs since 2020 after winning by more than ten points

C's 70% ATS 1H but only 53% FG (foot off the gas and bad at 2H adjustments)

C's have lost twice in the playoffs at home game 2

Possibility Porzingus has limited minutes

Mavs have lost twice in the playoffs on the road game 1 and then won game 2

Mavs 34-17 ATS on the road.  Last ten before previous game,  8-2 ATS and winning 7 of them SU!

Lively had a bad game, 5 fouls, and was pulled early due to losing. He will improve and had 5 boards. This line was -150 last game and now plus money! 

Bottom line - this is a Mavs bounce back spot and 7 is a lot of points.

Posted yesterday, and I can't give out -350 as a play but hey  I played it. My other higher juice recommendations have been cashing so what the hell?

WTF 40 points? 

I like under props on low scoring games if I play them. Last game they didn’t even hit 200 points. Boston players spread the ball around so I don’t see one player going off. Both defenses are elite. If Dallas makes adjustments or has a shot, they’re going to win on the defensive end. Luka would be my only concern if they just let him do whatever offensively like last game and shut everyone else down. Taking my chance on Luka not getting 40+ points on the road at the Garden though…

Like the play. Personally I am playing Mavs +7 with Celtics ML for similar reasons with the exception that I don't think the Mavs will actually win the game. Wrote a post on this with more details. BOL tomorrow.

C’s dominated game 1 for sure, but I’m expecting adjustments. I also don’t think Dallas will have that poorly of an offensive game.

what adjustments can the mavs make against porzingis? and if you dont spare efforts to contain him who stops white, tatum, brown? there's also jrue and horford. its unfortunate but the celtics are a well stocked machine, feels like people are trying to convince themselves of something that isnt really there. can the mavs stay close and potentially win? absolutely but you need everyone on their roster to be at the top of their game. boston on the other hand at 80% effort wins this and covers. you're basically expecting 2 of their main players to have an off night, tough ask. rooting for the mavs but logic points celtics

dang i havent been looking at that lately. it does play into how oh so nicely boston has gotten to this point lol every series a star player out lol what if he doesnt play and they win or if he does and they lose lol uh ever since the alstar break my brain hurts lmao but i do dig reading your takes on the game 100% unbias

The Celtics are the deeper and more talented team but that doesn’t always mean they will cover. Still have to keep in mind they only cover 53% of the time. We only have 1 game to analyze. 

As far as adjustments the Mavs will need to contain the perimeter better. Easier said than done though I know. Celtics live and die by the three. From what we’ve seen in the playoffs and second half of the year, Kidd is better at adjustments than  Mazula without a doubt. Mazula just has more talent. 

Porzingus is a problem, yes you are right about that. The Mavs will have to be more physical because the dudes talented but also a little soft imo. 

Win streak now at 7 and is still alive. Off-record play hits too...

Nice on the push.to keep your record alive. I was albe to get -6.5 earlier which was a nail biter. 

What do you think of weds line? Was hoping to grab Dallas as a small dog but no one is fooled at least yet.

 -8.5/9 point swing is a lot but yeah was hoping for a small dog too. I played the Mavs at -120 ML and if they lose I’ll play game 4 for a couple more units. I don’t think they get swept.

 Agree they should play much better with HC advantage no chance they get swept

 I ended up betting it again at +113 before game time. Had to sweat it out a bit, but I dunno. Had 6 at half, and he grabbed a rebound but was stepping on the line (out of bounds) and another was shoved and they called a foul against the other team so it didn’t count. He only played 19 minutes so not sure about next game was hoping he would play closer to 25 minutes. It is at + money again though…
