do you think that Cleveland is a better team than Boston on a neutral court? in other words, if everything else was equal, do you still believe that the Cavs are better than the Celtics?
only looking for feedback from those who think Cleveland (+1) is a good bet in game 6...

Um, why would it matter if its on a neutral court? Do you mean position by position?
Lakers were a better team than Detroit on a 'nuetral court' but Detroit still won the finals.
You can also say Portland was a better team than Lakers but Lakers got past them also- back when there way sabonis and rasheed and their all star bench.

Not to mention that Boston has been terrible all year at Home.

well, it matters on a neutral court, because i am trying to ask if you believe Cleveland is the better team than Boston..... so that is a way of qualifying it......
clearly, if Boston is better on a neutral court, they are better on their homecourt... regardless of how they have done at home during the regular season......
mostly just trying to survey whether people generally are betting Clev because of the "spot" or because they still think Cleveland is the better team.....
thanks for the feedback!

At this point in an emotional, big-time situational series it doesn't really matter who's better. If you're asking who you think would win more of 20 gms on a neutral court all things being equal, I'd give a slight edge to Cleve - maybe 11 to 13 of the 20.
Tough call tomorrow - have had a great 2nd rd in the playoffs except for this series which I haven't had a good read on at all. Does LeBron come out super aggressive from the start like he did in gm 3? And even if he does, how much will it matter? My guess is he will. How much will the C's mo & confidence from the last 2 carryover to gm 6 & with aging stars will the effort from 'em & the every other day schedule affect 'em much? Will the Cavs get some rd cookin from the refs with the league no doubt wanting a gm 7 even if the Cavs lose? The C's have done a better job with the adjustments & have looked more balanced & flexible - will the Cavs have any kind of answer other than just more intensity & 'Bron havin another crazy great gm lifting his guys play & carrying 'em with him?
Who knows - all good questions & we'll see. Should be a barnburner & no lean right now for me -
All good ques

well, that's basically what i'm getting at, Cashin......
there are going to be two types of Cavs backers...
1) those who are looking at the ebb and flow of the series and thinking that the Cavs come out with a great effort and the Celts come out flat (for some reason)......
2) those who think the Cavs are actually better than the Celts over the longhaul and warrant being close to a pick on the Celts home court......
was surprised to see many people considering Cleveland at all, so i just was curious which of the two categories those people are falling into...

ChefERD - I hear ya, will probably be both. Alot of different angles & factors to consider and some conflicting. Hard to know how much weight to give to each

At this point Cavs is obviously not a better team. LJ was a non-factor in the last game but will he bounce back? Or is he injured and can't bounce back?
I'm not a big believer in the 'must win' type of mentality. Most guys just want to plain win but if a team is better than you, no matter how hard you try, you will most likely lose.
As for neutral, I don't think you can look at it that way since some teams like ATL are real good at home but horrible on the road which needs to be factored in. Also the ATS etc doesn't mean much considering they are not playing different teams the next day out.

i hear ya, just sort of an expression...... just making the point that if Cleveland is not the better team, and is playing in Boston, the only argument is motivation or whatever......
but i think a lot of people still believe the Cavs are the better team, so.....
