Game 7 Sunday

After all the blowouts I am predicting we get two totally non manufactured 'thrillers' to make up for it as we round off the week and the 2nd round.

I already have a series bet in NY, I don't think it's bulletproof but the reasons I took them, despite being very impressed with the Pacers offense is their defense is much more conducive to classic playoff basketball.

Unlike in the Reggie Miller days this throwback rivalry will go to the Knicks as they have the best player of either team this time around in Brunson. But it will likely be super close down to the wire.

Wolves +4.5

Gonna wait and see if I can get a better number but I'm seeing another team here with the better defense in a playoff series with lots of blowouts and I really think we probably get a close game 7 so I'll take the points. Either team could win this game. It feels like Jokic will probably get to the finals again but we'll see - it will depend on the 3 point shots whoever they fall for is usually who wins. I like how after 'giving him his flowers' the Wolves won by a huge margin next time out.

Total is set really low but I already had a mind to bet the under so  I guess the oddsmakers have the same idea. In this game a defensive team like the Wolves will try and shut down the top option and I think conversely the Nuggets will be focused on Ant and lots of trying to force the ball out of stars hands and make other players score. Rudy is always good to have some fumbles, missed layups and FTs while turning away drives on the other end. I don't usually play totals and sides in the same game.. perhaps it's because I think Denver's playoff experience will help them advance so it's a bit of a saver if they win and cover. I actually think both teams will struggle a bit for stretches.
