It's been a while since games have been this entertaining on a Thursday night. Very sad about Sacramento, but happy for Seattle at the same time right now.
I haven't had much time to come around here lately, but I thought I'd drop some plays with some very interesting angles attached to it. Fri:
Chi +5 - Sure the Bulls are still a shade worse than last season mostly attributed to the bench mob leaving and Rose. Boozer has really come on and Noah can be a beast towards NYK. I don't care about Melo playing - he'll get his. The problem is the Knicks rely too much on the 3 ball and do not rebound the ball well at all. After a physical match last night I look for them to come out with a last of energy.
Sat:
Orlando ATS - Karl said the other night this was the best 9 loss team he had seen in years. And he wasn't kidding. Many people are still trying to ride this Clippers train til it burns to the ground. The problem playing the Clippers here is they will likely be favored in double digits. Orlando may have lost 10 in a row, but they've had their chances to win in this past 5 all against teams +.500. Their ability to execute is quite exceptional and there is a small chance they could pick up a win. Memphis on deck after this game for LAC.
Washington ATS + ML - Forget the return of Wall, Booker, and Nene. Sure it'll be interesting to see, and we all know DC could use a point right about now. This play comes down to revenge on a divisional rival. Their previous games were played very close for the most part. If DC doesn't shoot themselves in the foot in the 1st quarter, they have a great chance to win. ATL has started to slide recently and I can see DC make somewhat of a splash by potential going on a 3 game winning streak before they hit the road. The real angle on this game is not actually playing Washington, but more so fading the Atlanta Hawks who seem to be having some serious effort and chemistry issues right now.
Charlotte ATS + ML - Charlotte does play the previous night in Toronto (in another game they could possibly win). However, I would not pass up value on the ML with the Cats on this game. This could be a solid dog ML at +400 at least in my mind. All one needs to take into consideration is how the Cats have fared against slow-paced teams - and how the Pacers have fared against young running teams. For whatever reason - Charlotte has a winning record and fares quite well against the Central Division in the Association.
That's all I have for now. Please feel free to comment, add, or criticize any of my thoughts/opinions.
Good Luck to everybody in the Association!

the bulls would be a better pick if new york won tonight
might just lay off that one
orlando have been cover machines lately but it doesnt look like they are playing tomorow
Bulls being the better pick if NY won? I don't know about that statement. Sometimes it's a good angle to play against a team coming off a bad loss - but this is the same Chicago team that has beaten them twice and absolutely destroyed them last time out. It's just further evidence that this old Knicks team will be having some serious problems down the stretch keeping players healthy. After that incredibly physical game with Indy last night - I'd take Chicago all day tomorrow regardless of the ref assignments.
As far as Orlando - Why would they play tomorrow?
The game is Saturday.

Knicks have the revenge home loss angle - lost just two weeks ago to the Bulls - Carmelo got tossed in that game and so is Chandler. They also come off a loss to Indiana and another home loss to Boston.
Melo should be focused enough to get it done I think.
Bulls can hold on because of the 5 points cushion, but wouldn't want to bet a team that will lose, only due to 5 points line.
Agree on Orlando without a doubt.
As for the Wizards, so many players return to line up. It may really confuse the team. Hawks terrible at covering big lines, but it's hard to place money on the Wizards at the moment I think.

I sense some bias from him against certain teams. Regardless - Chicago is my only play today. I don't think NYK can hang around in another physical game 2 days in a row. Just too beaten and bruised. Sure Melo is fresh, but that's about all the Knicks have going for them. The 3 ball will probably fail miserably against Chi - and on top of that - NYK should have serious problems securing the boards and boxing out the paint. 104-94 Final.

A little harder to bet Chi with Joey Crawford.
