Memphis will be 100x more motivated to win this game than the previous one.
GS has no reason to win by 50 or 40 or 30 or even 20. They just want to win and they know Memphis will make them earn it.
So from a psychological perspective, which is more important than the raw talent and chemistry GS has, at least for one night, Memphis is the side to take here...with the points of course.
BTW, Memphis rested all its starters virtually the entire second half in the last game so the final was of course, skewed, especially since GS kept in their starters to beat up Memphis' bench.
Scal i didnt see this game last time but the sheets don't really read that way...
In the forth quater GSW launched 5 threes much less than their season average..
The 4th qauter is also full of names like Speights clark rush and macadoo.. The strters barley make the sheet w igudala once around the 11 minute mark and barbosa twice around around the 10 minute mark... then nada
Entering the 3rd they were up 19... Alot but not let off status.. they also launched less than average 3s and take out the final seconds 3 by igudala and you have 6 3 point attempts. So in the seoncd half they launched almost 1/3 less threes than normal and in the 4th played almost exclusivly scrubs...
It seems to me like GSW not only took their foot off the gas but was break checking like "hey grizz speed the hell up will ya" They could have won this game by 75 but did the compassionate thing and won by 50.
Its possible yesterdays trade can start a new season for the grizz.. but at the moment they are just a bad team...
They did bounce back after the GSW beat down w a W in sacto so you could say they can get focused and put on a good game... but then at 1-1 on the road trip and people thinking maybe the GSW game lit a fire they went on to be outscored in Portland then beaten down by Utah. Then in a game they really needed to have last night managed to draw the notoriously soft clippers into a Grizz style slug it out and still managed to loose...
This team was beat by clevland at home on oepning night by a record setting (i think) 30 points... then 3 games later lost by 50+... This doesnt seem like a team full of pride.. seems like when the going gets tough the grizz fold and fold hard...
Revenge angles are my style.. Im looking for motivation gaps...I was leaning grizz this morning after the little reminder chimed up on my computer... Grizz and Grizz ML it said... but the more i peep the more i back away.. Good Luck
